Prayer at Elim Oasis Church

At the heart of our church is a desire to connect deeply with God – not just through words, but through presence, stillness, and listening.

Prayer is more than speaking; it’s being.
We believe that prayer is a Spirit-led encounter with God that can take many forms – from spoken prayers in community to quiet moments of contemplation. Whether we’re gathered together or sitting in silence alone, prayer helps us stay rooted in God’s love and open to His voice.

We pray in many ways, including:
   •   Corporate prayer during our gatherings, where we bring our needs, hopes, and praises before God together.
   •   Contemplative and silent prayer, where we slow down, rest in God’s presence, and listen with the ears of our hearts.
   •   Intercessory prayer, where we lift up others in love and faith.
   •   Spontaneous, Spirit-led prayer, where we allow the Holy Spirit to guide our words and hearts.

Coming Soon: Contemplation Hour

In partnership with Reset Church, we’ll soon be offering a weekly Contemplation Hour – a space for stillness, reflection, and silence in God’s presence. All are welcome, whether you’re new to this kind of prayer or it’s already a part of your life.
