LIFE GROUPS
What Is a Life Group?
Life Groups are small gatherings where you can grow in your faith, build meaningful friendships, and feel supported as you follow Jesus. They’re relaxed, welcoming spaces where you can share life with others—your experiences, your questions, and your journey with God.
Each group is a bit different, but they’re all about connection—whether through prayer, conversation, laughter, or learning together. While many groups include Bible study, it’s not all we do! Sometimes it’s just about enjoying each other’s company. Think of it like getting together with good friends regularly—and that’s exactly what it becomes.
What can i expect?
Groups usually meet weekly during school terms in someone’s home, with around 6 to 12 people. The style and rhythm vary from group to group, so it’s worth chatting to one of the team or someone who already goes to find the best fit for you.
The goal is simple: to encourage one another, grow together, and care for each other through the ups and downs of life.
Why should I join one?
Sundays are a wonderful time to come together as a whole church to worship—but deeper relationships and personal growth often happen in smaller settings.
Life Groups are a great place to feel known, to explore faith more personally, and to try new things in a safe, supportive environment. You might be surprised how many others share your questions, joys, or struggles. You don’t have to walk the journey alone!
We currently have one life group – *Oasis Life and Prayer*- meeting every Tuesday at 2pm in St Peter’s. If you would like to attend, be sure to speak to someone on Sunday.
Alternatively, if you can’t make a Tuesday day time, please register your interest in visiting a life group here. New groups are forming soon.
